Established in 1975 as an intensive rehabilitative alternative to incarceration for committed delinquent youth, The STEP program operates experiential and adventure-based wilderness programming to promote academic achievement, character development and social responsibility.
STEP targets the factors that put youth at greater risk of becoming chronic offenders. STEP programs are located in Yulee, Florida and Fairhope, Alabama offering month long wilderness programs for committed delinquent males and females ages 14 to 18 years old.
